  • The stars in the hero are real: they are computed from a bright-star catalogue for the sky above Mexico City at the moment you open the page.
  • Fonts, scripts and images are all self-hosted. The only outside request is an anonymous, cookieless page count.
  • I built my own offline voice-dictation tool (WhisperFlow) because I wanted push-to-talk that never leaves my machine. I dictated the answers that shaped this page with it.

    Data and analytics engineering for the Point business line inside Mercado Pago.

    • Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for Mercado Pago Point using advanced SQL, BigQuery and an internal orchestration platform, supporting reliable downstream analytics and operational reporting.
    • Contribute to a data-architecture migration to a new backend environment, redesigning producer-consumer flows and data layers while preserving downstream compatibility and data quality.
    • Model and validate datasets across warehouse, reporting and operational layers, keeping BigQuery, business dashboards and internal applications consistent.
    • Develop an internal data platform with Next.js 16, Firebase Functions, Firestore, BigQuery and Google Sheets integrations to centralize operational workflows and data access.
    • Maintain architecture documentation, changelogs and migration handoffs to improve knowledge transfer, reproducibility and continuity across the team.
